Thread: Just mastered armorsmith :) Got a few questions on Layers.

What's the max % of kinetic and energy layers?
I'm only 10 point right now, but I'm hoping to make some armor along the lines of 80% kin/80% ene/70% base with as many exp. points into HAM as possible....if that's even possible for me right now.

15% is the max for kinetic resistance and 5% is the max for base. You can not get these even with perfect resources.
I would suggest playing around with the layers a little bit before you go all into it. Testing on gloves, since they don't require a factory to make them.
Max the base out on the layers, then dump the rest into durability (HAM). Make 3 layers this way, make the segment then gloves. See how it turns out. If you are short on kinetic, max base out on layers, place one point into kinetic and then the rest into durability. Keep doing it this way till you get what you want.
This is all going to change soon with the CU, so I wouldn't get too used to this....

Ahh, I made some 12% kinetic resist/3%base resists when I was 4404 AS, I'll give those a shot (I have 100 left =/), but I'm not planning on getting used to it, I just want to keep my vendors stocked relatively nicely until the CU hits. Then we'll have to learn how to make armor all over again...:'(
