all I have seen are "Giant Kimoglias" and "Dune kimoglias" do the RIS pieces drop off of "Giant Kimoglias" or off of "Giant Dune Kimoglia's". Also where can I find them? I've found some "Giant Kimoglia's" around the volcano on Lok, bu have yet to find a "Giant Dune Kimoglia"

only drop fron giant dune kimo's, they spawn at the kimo town poi and also random spawns usually down south of planet...

And ur gonna have to kill quite a few b4 u get a drop. Thats my experience.

Search arond the volcano in the southern portion of Lok, I find them pretty easily around there. I've killed 11 so far, and looted 9 GDK scales off of one. I find it's best to stay on your bike and get the GDK to agro you, then lead it over to a nice spawn of other creatures (Gurks and Snorbals are good, so are 'wild' droidekas). It will then agro on the other creatures, so you can use them to tank for you. If you stay at least 19m away from the GDK while attacking it, you won't be hit by any of it's special states (including disease). Hope this helps.

My current record is 6 scales off of a combined 237 GDK's since Launch.

Killed about 20 GDK last night without luck, then got 5 scales and 10 scales back-to-back. After that killed about 30-40 more without luck. Keep trying and you'll get some. The volcano is the best place imo. Good luck!

i'm still 0 for 28 myself, and as a tkm killing twenty eight at thirty mins each is no way to go. I've had luck finding them in between forbidden valley and hell's bucket though....closer to hell's bucket more often than not. i hope you have better luck than i do.

in my GDK huntin carrer i have killed a total of 24 solo(ive found all of them around the volcano) and ive looted 43 scales
