A couple guys from the rifleman team looted a famba armor core today
take a look
Breakdown
instead of percantages, we have damage numbers for resistances.
Instead of health, action, and mind encumberance, we have movement, accuracy, and RoF penalties.
This piece is supposed to go directly into a battle armor appearance schematic, so can be used in a wide variety of armor (instead of the ol' padded only that famba segments used to go into)
tho just a taste, I will give you more info as I get it.

What is worrying me is - is there going to be no more Stun in the Game . As it is not mention in any item about The CU ?
Thorgrime Master As 12pt and R.I.S Cert

No more stun in the game should be cause for celebration.
Not only is it a pain in the a** as I understand it for you guys to make decent sets with decent stun layers in addition to high-percentage base stats.

I really hope those rate of fire %'s are averaged and not added, because 5 of those, and your rate of fire will be 100% reduced.
Do you think current ham's will translate directly to rate of fire, movement and *ummm, forgot the other one*when they convert armor? (well, by directly, i mean via some formula)

The description says battle armour, but the stats say Recon armour. Any idea which it's really for?

From the docs about armor they are added linary (both protection and hindrance) and this is then mitigated with as much as 60-80%. But you can't have 5 cores in an armor anyway, 3 is max. If you mean how different parts of armor stack (helmet+chest etc) it's unknown.

Ya, i did mean different pieces adding together. Wow, if this is working how you make me think it is working, armor could get very slow very fast.

If this is looted from a fambaa, than I really doubt it's any good.

The stays may well mean 'recon' armor quality battle armor.
You have to keep in mind. Almost all armor loots currently. Are crap. 90 percent of all looted segments can be made far better by an AS. Alot of looted layers arnt as good as what can be made by a RIS certed AS either for that matter.
That isnt to say there arnt some that are better (like a few krayted segments that have shown up in the 30+ range, some I think over 50+ even)

it gets better:
these loots DECAY (and have no condition stat, only visible in the 'decay event' window).
they decayed 6% on ONE uninsured event, in fact.
btw... got someplace for us rifles to dump this stuff? even if it DOES stack (and it does!), I still don't have unlimited inventory space to haul around y'all's toys... and I've got a knack for dying, so decay might be an issue.

Hmm. that part isnt so good. At least if the decay actually matters.
It's one thing if they now decay. And have no visible effect. but if they decay. Have an effect. But we AS have no way of knowing.....
That wont be so good. However. This will I'm sure become known very soon. Or at least. As soon as the elite proffs are unlocked and we can get to actually screwing around with the new armor types. Armor loots etc.
I'm currious though. Did the stats change at all after the decay event? Or did they stay the same?
