You'll have to run a new batch of Armor Padding. Pre-CU Armor Padding converted to Battle Segments or something. What a drag.

After a long time of simply lamenting what the devs had done to armorsmithing, and also the irresponsibly poor way the game was implemented with bug after bug after bug after bug, I decided to get back ingame and try crafting some armor, since it was clear that the folks involved would be ramming their atrocious work down our collective throats instead of trying to get the game right before implementing it.
Last night i finished my factory run of battle cores, and today went to aseemble the finished product: some nice suits of Black Mountain Wook Armor.
And yet, my Armor Padding from pre CU is totally busted. Broken. Doesn't Work. Won't Fit.
Is this just another glitch that thesehalf-assed developers havefailed to work out before implementing the CU into the game, or has there been a fix anounced for this problem? Can pre CU armor pads be used ingame, or can they not be?
Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
was converted to battle segments .. dunno if all got same ... 730 resist on all... you can make some grind cores out for it and sell it for some money as grind armor.
but for new wookie armor you need to ask your friendly tailor if he can sell/give you a new schematic or if you can buy some crates

At least the padding-turned-to-segments aren't too bad. Not great, but could be worse--they could be 200 across the board or something. Why'd they do the conversion if that element hasn't changed?

he! Paddings ....
taking the only item from Tailors where actually experimentination was possible and mattered.

True? The armor padding does nothing for the armor?
I was talking with a tailor friend to see about some schematics. She stated there was a formula for both resist and condition. (OQ/SR and OQ/UT respectively). Is this broken?

they can exp all they wont. the resources and or ingredients in the final combine (which is where the padding is used) only affects the condition.

Figures. I'm not even going to bother to test it. I think I've wasted enough time seeing what the new armor system is all about already.
Makes me wonder what market the SOE people are targeting.
