I've been reading about how many people have seen imps wearing marine armor backpacks. I've also seen an imp wearing one and wanted one too. So I was wondering if there is any possible way any more for an imp to either become rebel equip it and then go back imp or any way else that wouldn't mean staying rebel.

Any help would be great.

Well its really just like you said, you just have to go rebel equip the backpack and then go imp again. Your supposed to lose all your faction perks when you leave a faction but that was apperantly broken at some point in time.

It was never broken. That rule just wasn't there when the game came out.

It could be done before just like you said. Therefore you had Rebels in ST armor, Rebels with AT STs, Imps with Marine backpacks and so on.

The loose all faction perk thing was then added to prevent people from doing it. Especialy the Rebels with AT STs part (Imp would die with AT ST out, Imp would leave the Empire with AT ST still out, Imp would become Neutral and then go Rebel with the AT ST still out)

I believe that there is no way to do it withthe backpack that is currently a faction perk. I have a backpack from a while ago, that is equipable while covert, and I believe that one is able to be worn by both Rebels and Imperials.

Not 100% sure, but from what I have gathered, thats the case.

Is there anyone that can completely confirm this. I tried it today with a pre nerf backpack and tried to equip it when covert(IMP), this didn't work. So can anyone confirm any way that this does work? I'd even consider going rebel equipping it then going back imp if it's possible.

Some said imps in marine armor is possible, but who would want to, it looks like crap and decays badly.

Am I correct in assuming that you can't buy Marine Armor Backpacks from the recruiters any more? And we can't craft it?

We can craft Stormtrooper belts, so we should be able to craft marine backpacks in my opinion.

anyone have an answer for this?

i have a marine armor backpack. it is my all time favorite, and when i unlock my second character slot in a few weeks i would like to have one for that character as well.

how do we get them?

I don't think they are available anymore, I see them going for ridiculous prices now on vendors.
