Thread: Slicing my armor

I have beentrying to find the resources to make "capped" armor, that is getting as close to 6000 base without breaking the hindrance threshold. This last week, I´ve spent app. 8 million buying a resource crate and a lot of old resources for as much as 15cpu.

The biggest problem I've had is Assault armor - I get around 5440 base protection (6440 kin/4440 energy) on that, but that´s when it struck me:

The important stat is how the armor will look after slicing - and the assault armor I sliced was, I think, 5985 base after slicing. Which is very close to perfect, I think.

So does this mean that I should concentrate on hitting something like 5450 base instead of 6000?

This basically mean that armor produced with my best resources and then sliced (Iguess around 6400 protection and +4% hindrance) will be inferior to that which I create with medium resources (6000 protection and 0% hindrance for masters) ?

Of course, these numbers also say that I think 4% hindrance outweighs the extra 2% of protection offered by the better armor.

I support the NGE - NOT!
