Thread: Go figure, still no love or even attention
Not to be a Pollyanna or anything, but, what sort of "love and attention" do we really need right now, other than some bug fixes to things like crate conversion and layer stats not showing?
Armor works. The profession works pretty well as advertised. It may be dull, boring, and silly in many respects, but I'm not expecting much of anything other than a few bones thrown to us every now and then. Am I missing something?
I'm still willing to sacrifice small woodland creatures for armor colorization kits, though.

well I guess 12 months from now when they get done with all the other revamps they might get to an armorsmith revamp?

Well for starters they can put in a quick fix so that my 68 pre-CU Peko feathers and close to 100 NS layers will work !!!!!
I need a beer.
Seriously, I'm not complaining and I'm not being a pessimist, I'm just being realistic based on past behaviour of the devs.
Mix in what seems like a big loss of revenue from the CU and no huge influx of new players from the movie (yet), SOE has got to be thinking about scaling back development efforts. Their QA department has always been extremely weak and is probably non-existant at this point (see Smedleys public statement about releasing the CU because they weren't getting any feedback from the players... i.e. they are counting 100% on the player base to report game issues).
The devs are already working on the next publish/new content and it's WAY too late now for minor things like CU conversion issues. The fact we aren't hearing anything means management has decided spending more budget hours on conversion issues is not worth the it, and time will be better spent on new content (or issues that affect a much larger player base).
So our only choice is to either chug along if you're reasonably happy with how things are now, or move on to another profession/game.
As Sune has already said, relating to this point:
- Lowered complexity on armor segments and cores
Is a pretty nice fix. Reductions in factory times are pretty high on a lot of AS's top 5 niggles.

Unless someone can confirm that complexities have been lowered on Test Center from what they currently are on live servers, I'm going to assume that this isyet anotherredundant patch note. A large number of things on the Publish 17 patch list are items that were included in several hotfixes over the past couple weeks.
I'd like to be wrong, however.
Any word yet on how much of a reduction we're looking at here? If as stated this is actually something new that is, alot of stuff on here has been done the last couple weeks.
