Thread: Question about Imperial factional armor

I don't know about Stormtrooper or Shock armor, since I'm not rich enough to go and buy armor I can't use, but upon trying to equip my Scout Trooper helmet, the game says I can't equip it.


Now, I know the Empire has a certain prejudice against all the races but humans (or they used to, dunno if it changed), but does SOE really hate imperial bothans that much? Is this a bug, or is it just another function of the game? It bothers me that I payed 1.9 mil for something I can't fully use, yet should be able to since I'm a loyal imperial citizen. I'm sure the armorsmith would give me a refund, but I don't want to get rid of really good armor if it's just a bug that will probably get fixed. Even if it isn't a bug though, it just seems wrong...


I hate to clutter your boards and take your time, but could Caile or someone in the know please let me know about this? Thanks!

With your smuggler bothan, you should only have a problem wearing the helmet. From the SWG CU armor page it notes:


  • Imperial Reconnaissance: Armor Wearable by all species except Wookiees and Ithorians. Helmets fit Humans and Zabraks only.
