Anyone else had problems with the final result of chestplates? I spent 2 weeks testing layers and trying for the perfect experimentation to make some 80% KInetic 80% Energy 9% Stun 70% base composite. Ran the layers, ran the segs, the suit came out perfectly. Got an 7 point amazing on resist and a 4 point amazing on HAM for each piece, then the chestplates came time. They cap at 79% kinetic 79% energy 9% stun and 69% base

Is it the hidden decimal playing with me? anyone else have this happen? Feel like i spent all my time and effort to have i pulled out from underneath me

my chestplates always seem to come out 1% lower than everything else...

It's the resource proportions in each piece. Beyrllius copper makes up a higher % of the weighted average in chest plates than in the other pieces. So either you'll have to use a slightly better resource in the chest to overcome the copper, or make special adjusted layers/segments just for the chest. Yeah, it sucks.

I don't quite undcerstand. What piece of armor were you using while testing to get your layers and segment perfect? Was it gloves? Chests, and sometimes helms and legs do occaisionally come out 1% lower.

First it was gloves, I'm well aware that they can come out +1% over the rest. So i ran layers and segs testing it on arms until i ogt it "right". Came time to run the schemes thinking all was good then came to the chestplate and well

I've gotten to the point where I run four completed segments to test out a questionable setup. It's a bit of a pain, put since I'm using the actual components that will go in the final suit and the one piece that tends to come out lower than the rest I know where I stand before I run 3000 layers and ~1000 segments.

Yeah that was my mistake. Was more curious about the math behind it, main reason why i love AS Gotta think when doing it. Just a short sighted mistake on my part.

I also do this when I want to just hit 80% on a special without going over and wasting experimentation due to the 80% cap.
