What TYPES of ORGANIC resources do armorsmiths need most? I know that the most desirable stats are high OQ and SR but which resource types do you need? What types of hides? What types of bones, if any?

Wooly hides for Composite armor and Leathery Hides for Ubese armor.

Dantooine animal bones for advanced chitin segs, but i don't know that any big time AS's deal in chitin.

Dantooine bones are also used for wookie hunting armor. Some pretty good bones spawned a little while backand they went for a decent price.

Add to your list Lokian Leathery hide and Yavani Wooley for padded. Rori animal bones can be used for advanced Bone segs. Good leathery for ubese and good Wooley for comp, especially, will make you the most money though.

I think Rori wooly for RIS if I remember from the suit I had made. Real crappy spawn at the time though.
