Was making primus layers tonight and even though the original experimentation started at 26%, the values stayed at 12/12 all through the experimentation process. I made a prototype unit and schematic, and both stuck with the 12/12 original values. Any ideas?

drop the schem in the factory and start it up. that will fix it. you should get the proper values

I'm not sure what the proper values are though...91% of 50?

Pretty much. Expect your layers to be +45 or +46. This is a known display bug that has been with us quite a while and affects all layers. It isn't that big a deal in practice, since unlike cores where you need to know where you are in relation to the 5600 capping value, higher is always better with layers. Just use your best resources and charbe full speed ahead.

Excellent, thank you. Is there a quick way to tell how much is being added to the suit from just the layer values? I've only made capped unlayered cores before and this is my first foray into layers.

Yeah it's pretty simple. If you are doing energy or kinetic layers, just take the % from the experimentation and multiply it by 1200. If you are doing primus, take the % and multiply by 600 and you will have the increase.
For example if you experimented your energy layer to 94%, Then 0.94 * 1200 = 1128. You would have around an 1128 point increase (the number may be +/- a few points based on rounding).
If they were primus, 0.94 * 600 = 564. You would gain around 564 points in both kinetic and energy resists.
Hope that helps.
