if all you are concerned with is making master armorsmith and not in therush to sell your goods then this is what i did...

i made a lot of factory runs of recon segments and then BASIC recon cores. when the basic recon cores were done i cranked on the mabari chest pieces.

now here's why...

although mabari recon chests use 5 cores, they give you the most xp (500+) per mouse click. and you'll be doing a lot of mouse clicking. so, if u were to make another type of chest you'd be using less cores per but overall u'd be using up a lot more of other resources and subcombines like fiber panels, syn cloth, metaletc...

so, my own personal experience, i would recomend trying it and see how it goes. make sure u have an AS buff too. also, since ur just trying to get xp, try to use crappy resources and don't bother conducting experiments. run in practice mode on the crafting tool. this way ur inventory wont get full of useless armor. save a few if u need money, head to mos eisley and list them for instant sale for 10-20k each on the bazaar term, there's always noobs in need of armor for pennies and you'll recover some of ur investment to grind more.

as a matter of fact, even though i am a 12pt FS MAS, i continue to do the method above because i need the xp to swap at the jedi village on dathomir in order to become a padawan.
