I had some components already made up, so thought I'd try crafting an Imp PSG on TC-Corbantis and I noticed something I hadn't seen mentioned anywhere yet.
First off, all my existing Imp PSG's converted to 1921 Energy, 0% efficiency, and 65 recharge rate--regardless of their stats before the conversion. Condition seemed to stay the same.
Then I went to craft a new one and noticed that Imp PSG's now have skill mods:
General Melee Accuracy: 10
General Ranged Accuracy: 10
Condition started at over 6k, and it looks like each experiment raises condition about another 1k.
I experimented Special Protection to 90% which left it with an energy rating of 2269, 0% efficiency, and 57.2 recharge rate (nothing experimented on recharge).
(I'm sure I could get higher than 2269 energy because I didn't max the bar)

gaaah so my run of 65% imp psg 3k cond should be kept in components???
ill halt my factory till further notice if the components are indeed better kept than made into shields... btw are the resources the same?

ahhhh thats good news. finally a reason to make imp psgs postcu.
looks like those last 2 skill points might be useful after all.

Yes, you should clearly stop your run now and keep the components on standby.
Both the Mk.3 PSG's and the Imp PSG's are far superior made after the CU in condition and resists. Also, converted Imp PSG's don't have the two skill mods.
Mk.3 PSG's are now pretty close (maybe even identical) to the Imp PSG's in stats, but Mk.3 doesn't have the skill mods.
