I know that boots and gloves are now considered "No Hit Zones", and thus have no protections. I have also read that RIS boots and gloves still require the GDK Scale.
Now the Boots have a condition of 100/100. Even with insurance, they will still lose 1% on each death. And we all know how wonderful repiars work, unless this has now changed.
Will anyone even bother with RIS Boots after the CURB?
Heck, will anyone even waste the time and resources on any armor boots?

I think boots will still be in fairly high demand, to complete the RIS look. Gloves, on the other hand are almost identical to Composite, or Padded gloves, so probably won't get many sales

Unless they changed it since the last time I was on TC, post CU ris boots and gloves do NOT need GDK scales, Gurk Hide or Woolemander bones. It just calls fo X ammount of about 3 ersources and that was it.
Though its possible that for some reason they changed that.

I thought they required a RIS segment, which now requires the gurk hide, wooly bone, and GDK scale
