Thread: What should armorsmiths do?

Hello everyone,
I have been reading a lot of what armorsmiths have been saying, and I have a question or 2.
Should armorsmiths make suits of armor now, before may 5 and convert it after, or wait till after. I have crates of segs for 3 different types of composite, so I wonder if I should just make them now.
Should Armorsmiths keep their looted scales and stuff or make armor using them now. I have a bunch of kryat stuff and was wondering.
From what I hear the base is what is going to matter now. Should I make a run of the highest base armor I can make?

I would not use scales now as they only put things in special resists and conversion is only based on base. As for other armor it's a hard choice, as it is right now even the best 90% base stuff is converted to around 5150 and there have already been people hitting 6000 on newly created stuff. But the difference between 5000 and 6000 isn't that much really and the with the extra res needed... hard choice.

create enough for segs and orders you need. What I do is roll off a bunch of segs n layers, then roll off some armor. that way I have both going. there wil be demand up to the CU. it's the post CU where things get creative. I won't stop all production May 4th, I'm just going to make what my orders need.
