Ok, before I go any further I have to admit I don't know the current state of level modifiers on TC, I haven't managed to get on for a few days now.

Also, the answer may already have been posted but I've not found it, so.....

Does anyone know the reasoning behind the level differential combat modifiers?

I'm after genuine answers here, not rants.... I don't like it either btw, but I'm working on a suggestion, and I'd like to know if there is some subtle reasoning that I've missed.

Yes I know the suggestion may not get anywhere, especially before the CU goes live, but /shrug you never know

(FARSTAR) Bogaba - Armoursmith - nr Mos Eisley (WP 3796 -3716)
(INFINITY) Annaka - CH/Ranger
(CORBANTIS) Lyissan - Smuggler

All cancelled the minute NGE goes live.

its basically a port of EQ2 combat system. LVL v LVL decides what damage you get from the mob. Its a stupid system which unbalances PVE and its proven.

Because it is the only way the devs could lock down every single scrap of freedom in this game to ensure "Balance".

because the devs saw the subscription numbers of the "game that shall not be named" and saw that "it" had levels. So in there infinatly minute wisdom, we get them also.
