Boots and gloves convert to "clothes." How are they crafted in the new system? Do they take all the armor requirements but just pop out with no stats?
Since you only get hit in the head, chest, and legs now... biceps and bracers are also useless. Do they get converted/crafted to "clothes" too? Do they require the armor resources?
Just curious because if the boots, gloves, bracers, and biceps require the armor resources and offer no protection... I will not bother crafting them. Therefore, the increased resource requirements aren't quite as bad?!?!

ok, 1st bracers and biceps are staying valid armor
Boots and gloves take less resources, no cores, and are fairly easy to make, but still no need to stock them in a suit. I may sell (if i stay ingame) them seperate on my vendor and not in my full suits.

Check the schems for a complete list of resources needed.
You still get hit in the arms so biceps and bracers are needed and do have stats.

Ahhh, I didn't realize that. The document I read said head, body, legs... thanks for clearing that up for me!
So I'm guessing arms get hit with body shots. Any data collected to show how frequent the arms and chest get hit with body shots? Curious if, like the current system, you can get away with not wearing biceps and bracers, i.e. only 5 in 100 body shots will hit your arms. The damage of which can be mitigated with synthsteak and a PSG.

"found that it was pretty random with plain shots as to where they landed."
Hmmm, define random*. Random that the shot will hit your arms, chest, head, or legs? Or random in that you will get hit in the body (body = arms + body), legs, or head?
If it's the latter then there's a 5 in 8 chance you're getting hit in the body, so it's not really that random.... or is it? haha
*When I see random... I assume that it's uniform randomness (if that makes sense).

when using regular shots (read not headshot, bodyshot, or legshot)its pretty much directly proportional to the number of spots available to hit. So 7 spots total can be hit. 4 of those being the arms. Now what i dont know is if the head, chest, and legs are weighted at all in the calculations. They may have a modifier making chest more likely to hit then the biceps, but im not 100% sure of that.

Last thing I read, steak is gone and the highest amount of damage reduction with food is around 20%. Steak has been redirected to health regen.

If all spots had equal probability of getting hit, then each part has a 1/7th chance of getting hit. Then your body has a 5/7th chance of getting hit as opposed to 1/7 for leg and 1/7 for head. But I guess that it doesn't matter since all damage hits the "Health" bar anyway.
So yah, wonder if there's a modifier... lol

Yeah, I was just trying to figure out if it's worth the extra hinderance to wear the biceps and bracers.

yes completely as due to an oversight/bug/short-sightedness/stupidity masters have no penalties for wearing armor. (all their hindrances are mitigated away)

Ah.. Good point. I'll take the perspective of less stuff to craft then
