Thread: Warning Armorsmiths plz read
Most of my tickets with CSresults ininexperienced CSRs replying with generic responses and immediately closing the ticket...creating more frustration. I get better help from the forums.
For example, I couldn't dress my Wookiee vendor in Wookiee Armor. I opened five tickets because I was getting lame duck responses, and having the tickets being closed each time. I stated that I was 4-0-4-3 Merchant, and a couple of the responses were:
- You need the Uniforms skill box from the Merchant profession in order to dress your vendor (ticket closed)
- Wookiee vendors can only wear wookiee armor and clothing (ticket closed)
There were a few more... I can't remember them. Eventually, I asked for help on the merchant forums and right away, someone advised me that it was a bug that started after one of the patches.
thats my biggest problem is the generic responses to important questions and if they cant take the time to get a me a correct response after 2 tickets after specifically asking for an EXPERIENCED CSR who knows what they are talking about!
Its the biggest slap in the face for a CUSTOMER to get treated like that and well ive learned my lesson and ill never have anything to do with an SOE game for the rest of my life and i will bad mouth them at any time i get the chance
Heydious/Superpro
yup... i swear sometimes they dont read what you write....
i opend one to get my armor padding schmatics converted to something that works... we still need it... why the hell is it "not in use by the game anymore"
first response i got was
we are sorry for any inconvience this has cause, CSRs can not interfear with armor purchased postCU.... *closed ticket*
why the hell would i be BUYING armor if im and Armorsmith?
second one said he would review it and closed the ticket.

thats a good one. On the issue of the CSR's, they get rated by the number of tickets resolved, not the quality of the resolution. A friend of mine was a GM on EQ a few years ago, I doubt its changed that much since then.
Too bad they can't do a little "Did this resolve your question?" box after a ticket is closed, and then get them rated on *resolved* tickets. Blah.
