Hello fellow Armorsmiths...I guess this isn't really an Armorsmith issue, but since it is about Armor I figured I'd post it here. Currently in RotW you can get a set of Clone Trooper Armor, which is 5664 acrossed the boards on resist. The only problem I have with the armor is the fact I can not slice it. Although the missions to get this armor is not that difficult, I wish they would allow it to be sliced. As a PvPer, I want to wear the best resist armor I am certed for...and since my RIS is 5994 resist I usually go with that. I like the Katarn Armor and wish I could slice it to be up par with my other battle suits.
I was told it can not be slicible because it is a quest reward, however my proton carbine was a quest reward as well but it was slicable. I guess it's just me wanting to wear cool armor and have it actually worthwhile, even if it's only 300 resist more, it does make a difference in my opinion.

Good, its bad enough that its 5664 which is nearing the edge of a lot of peoples battle armor to begin with.
Considering its a free quest, it should be comparably lower than stuff crafted by armorsmiths.

when you are looking at PVP armor are you looking at Energy, Kinetic or both?
Many good Armorsmiths can make 7900/4500/5500 (K,E,SP) or 4500/7900/5500 armor with Quad Layers.
Quad Primus Battle armor I think (dont make Battle mayself) comes in around 6500/6500/4500 (again I think).
