Thread: Does Primus, Secundus and Tetrius Layers cancel each other out when making segments?

Ah nevermind I've read the post that layers have been nerfed. I give up!

well due to differences in materials youd probably have LESS protection from that combination.... as primus layers lower the elemental more than they raise the kin/energy.... which is fubar

So what your saying is there is no point in layering armor... Geez I wasted a whole weekend factory running Advanced Layers...
Is there any word if this permanent or just a temporary setback?

just dont mix opposing layers unless you know what they will do..... kin/energy layering on same suit=stupid.
quad layering primus/kinetic/energy is generally the best way to go.
I just wish elemental attacks had a greater affect in the game, id love to make some energy/tertius (thats the one that lowers kin right?) layered stuff if heat/cold got a boost
