Ok, it looks like the Lok leathery and the other non-planet specific hides won't be much of a problem to get in HUGE quantities for a reasonable price. My long term contact for hide harvesting spent a night out on Lok doing lvl ~80 Gurk missions with 4-5 friends. By the end of the night she had 80k of Lok Leathery and each of her friends had similar sized piles. She seemed to think that things would be similar on Dant(or any other danger planet where you can pull level 80 missions for things that drop the hide you're after), but she hasn't gone to find out for certain(she's been spending too much time on Kashyyyk for me to trouble her too much). She said that my request for Nabooian bristly would likely be the toughest one since there aren't a lot of high level creatures there.

Have you guys heard similar things from your organic suppliers? Or is my contact just blowing smoke up my hoop?

bristley seems to be the problem, but lvl 50ish tusk cats can drop 400 hides per kill

Interesting. Are these tusk cats found anywhere specific, or are they just random spawns?

Lokian leathery was never hard to get in quantites. Naboo bristley is horrendous. What hunters want to run tusk cats missions for hours. At least on lok - leathery drops from interesting creatures.

would be mission's max you can get on naboo is level 50 would probably take a mranger to get 400 unit's a drop though. i get 180 with novice scout while grouped.

Tusk cat missions at you level (50 or 80) give 5-7k exp same as gurks. and drop 300-400 units hide. No difference in what you hunt anymore. I am level 80. All level 80 mobs on all planets drop huge quantities. Its all about the level of the creature. Level 80 kaadus drop 300 units of avian now (as an example)

And you can get level 80 tuskcat missons from NPC cities. But from player cities it's capped at level 50. On other planets it's the opposite, doesn't make much sense but that's how it is.

Can pull level 80 missions from my City....

from what I can tell if you get missions from the far southern edge of naboo (like in the swamps) you can get lvl 80's.

I grouped with 3+ rangers the other night and was getting 400+ to drop on naboo per tusk cat. This is one of the few good things about the CU.
