I know this has probably been answer so many time already but i'm just a noob at this, and the search forums are not really workin for me atm: But how many experimentation pts do u need to be 12 pts? and is it the same for every crafting profession? and one last one how do assembly tapes come into play?

+10 = 1 extra point (11 total)
+20 = 2 extra points (12 points total)
does not come into play at all whatsoever except making psgs
anyone that tells you otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about (someone will say it helps in getting sockets or something like that, but the armor turns out exactly the same)

You can alsoget better condition on your armor as an 11- or 12-pointer,and I do know what i am talking about. Contrary to what some believe, experimenting on condition at the segment and core stages does have an effect.
I won't say the extra few k condition you getper piece ofarmor is worth going out anddropping 10-15 mil onan expt suit if you do not have one, but I will say that it is worth wearing one if you already have it.
