Thread: Way SOE can help the Armorsmith make alot more credits!
How about incorporating that into other professions who need content? Smugglers, for example?
This would be a simple change, but you need to be more thorough in presenting the logical reasoning for implementing it, and how it would or would not negatively or positively affect the economy and game play of SWG's customers.

But with attachment drop rates being high atm, so the demand for a selct few attachments are also high. 20 mill for a plus 25 AA atleast. (depending on what its for) And while your right that they are more of a luxary item, it still is almost required for pvp now days.
Yes, but PvP is not for everybody. I personally almost never PvP. I only need crafting bonuses (that I have already and don't need more of) in a set of clothes that takes forever to decay so I don't see any necessity for the option you are suggesting. My fighter toon doesn't use any tapes but I can stillpretty much solo almost any mobin the game.
If the person decides he/she wants to PvP/PvE and wants to have an edge over somebody/something (aka "luxury"), then that person can go all out and spend the credits if he/she thinks it's worth it or spend hours trying to loot some. This is a personal choice and not game-breaking.
If the game "required" SEA's in armor at the current decay rate, then yes, it would be a very good option to be able to take the tapes out.
Also, that person doesn't have to wear the same suit all the time (meaning we can still sell extra sets of armor)and has to choose wisely which armor they will wear so they don't waste their hard earned SEA's from decay. They have to remember to clone and store their armor in droids or whatnot.
A bit differentfrom AVs, Jetpacks, BARCs,because we are limited to 3 vehicles in our datapad and if a person has all 3, then they have no other option but to use 1 of them. That's why vehicle repair kits were introduced. However, you can have unlimited sets of armor.
