just wondering if there is a way to put a piece of text in the description for items i'm selling without re-typing it each time.
I'm guessing someone knows a way to put it into the directory's.

You can set up copy and paste functions from the options screen. There's also an in-game notepad you can use by typing /note. Let me get in game to outline the copy and paste procedure.

Ctrl+O
Click Keymap
Click the Chat tab
Scroll down to Chat Edit Copy, Chat Edit Cut, and Chat Edit Paste
Click on one of them
Click Rebind
Press the key combo you want to use for these commands (like Ctrl+Shft+V for paste)
Repeat for the other two commands
Click OK
You're done.
Click Keymap
Click the Chat tab

In addition to copy/cut/paste you will find that in-game notepad is very usefull:
. command /notepad (or /not) open or close a text window/form.
. I bounded it to ctrl+shift+N (thru keymap but you prolly need to create a macro with one line: /notepad;)
. under yourprofile you will find a *.txt file that you can shortcut it on your desktop if you are using Windows.
. I think thatit's the easiest way to get web info (quests, resources, waypoints, macros, etc ...) in-game without mistyping.
. I use notepad for my harvests info, some schematics, geonosian codes (always in top position), some stats of my armors, the name I give to my harvesters with the exact ORION Harvesters color, etc ...
