I don't quite get it. I am saving up for RIS as well, but doesn't anyone want to see the impact the combat balance has on armor before having RIS made? I know I do. I would rather wait, just in case the Combat Balance pass is NOT retroactive, and the only thing affected is armor from the point of implementation on, rather than being backward compatable.
Such as - what if the rumors are true, and RIS gets a Lightsaber Resist, but it only applies to suits from the point of implementation on, and not for previous RIS armors? I'd rather hang on to my stuff, wait for better minerals to come around, and wait until the balance is done before I go and have it made.
Anyway, don't mind me - I am just addled.

there's also the possibility that you can't get 80% base on RIS anymore, but that it isn't retroactive... so you'd get your 60% RIS, while others would keep their 80%... It's all in how you look at it, and a gamble either way.

I suppose. I guess I would rather take the chance that I will get 60% across the board with an acid resist than 80% with no acid resist.

Plus, you might want to try now, because who says that you will be soloing GDK's after Combat Rebalance.

The conbat revamp isn't even on the schedule until after August. I'd rather play the game now than let it sit on the shelf gathering dust until Aug.
