Ok, I am currently making an incredible helmet. I have a question for you all though because I dont want to waste experimentation points.

What is most effective for dropping encumberance?

Experimenting on Segment or the Armor itself?

I am working on getting some 30% NS layers and only need to get the armor and stun layer to get to 50% to cap out at 80%.

So if I experimented all the way up on the base % on the segments, and put the remaining 3 into encumberance, and then on the armor experiment up to 80% and then the rest into encumberance. Would that be better than experimenting the segment to the desired % and put about 5-6 into encumberance on the segmentand then experiment all the way up on the % on the armor, and then the remainder into encumberance.

Not sure if that makes sense. I guess I am askingif it's better to invest experimentation points into encumberance on the segment or the armor itself.

Encumbrance experiments give more "bang for the buck" at the lower levels (layer and segment). It's almost pointless to do it on the final combine, as the results typically blow chunks.
