Thread: 14 pt smith? what is that all about?

The current plan is for the bonuses for Force Sensitivity (+25) to add on top of bonuses given in the tree and bonuses given by skill tapes.
Therefore +20 from skill tapes, plus +25 from FS trees gives a Master 14 experimentation points.
Bad idea IMO.
Totally agree. I wonder why they are doing this? Jedi class is already a special class. Why is a jedi affecting other crafting profession? If the exp points is used for jedi specific ones, I would understand. But, if Jedi cannot be any other prof then the Jedi itself, and Jedi and yoru regular char are separate entity, why would Jedi char affect the regular crafting prof?
Or, would they be changing Jedi to have regular professions?

Or +25 from skill tapes and +25 for FS trees.. 15pt smith

Does the FS tree use different skill points than regular professions ? Hmmm... I hope so, I'm already out of points and will have to drop smuggler to pick up the FS skills. =(

A: You will get more experimentation points. (paraphrased): 2 points is what you can get from FS. ANd this will stack with skill tapes, for a total of up to 14 experimentation points. All FS skills were designed to be enhancements, butnot overwhelming or unbalancing. Devs do not see this as unbalancing, Crafters will always have the option to sell wares as they are, or pursue force sensitive lines, much as they can pursue skilltapes now.
