As the title said...

I thought max of 25 points can be added on skills? How would anyone get 40+ points to get 14 exp points?

The current plan is for the bonuses for Force Sensitivity (+25) to add on top of bonuses given in the tree and bonuses given by skill tapes.

Therefore +20 from skill tapes, plus +25 from FS trees gives a Master 14 experimentation points.

Bad idea IMO.

Totally agree. I wonder why they are doing this? Jedi class is already a special class. Why is a jedi affecting other crafting profession? If the exp points is used for jedi specific ones, I would understand. But, if Jedi cannot be any other prof then the Jedi itself, and Jedi and yoru regular char are separate entity, why would Jedi char affect the regular crafting prof?

Or, would they be changing Jedi to have regular professions?

in the new system, you will be able to keep your normal professions and 'buy' force sensitive skills on top of that with however much of a certain xp it will require and you will use up skill points... once you master the jedi force sensitive crafting do da tree you will receive the 2 extra points or so i assume. As someone said above its not final and it may just be a bonus to experimentation so you can achieve more amazing successes.

the FC trees now have some very nice additions to alot of classes with speed and accuracy or ranged/melee defence for combat chars and exp/assy/repair mods for crafters

sorry, one guy got it wrong here.. force sensitive bonus is +20, not 25... and i think they're changing it to help with experimentations like bespin port... haven't kept up on it as much as i'd like though

Does the FS tree use different skill points than regular professions ? Hmmm... I hope so, I'm already out of points and will have to drop smuggler to pick up the FS skills. =(

Can't have everything, I guess... Maybe I should just not bother w/ smuggler... hmmm.

If you only need the expriementation points, you only need extra 4 skill points for 4 boxes. Each box requires 1 skill point.

By the way, whoever said, I don't call FS a jedi. That is rather confusing people. Becoming force sensitive is pre-requisitefor a jedi, but, you do not need to go up jedi tree. I consider this to be an addedbonus to all the professions. As for me, I will onlydo this first quest, and enjoy the bonus. I'm an armorsmith after all.

From what I understand the FS crafting is still buggy, but whenit does work its more along the lines of a general crafting bonus so all crafting profs will receive the bonus

The force experimentation and the points from skill tapes do not stack.........

Devs said in the past that any skill will not exceed the +125 points.

Also it has been tested on TC2....cannot remember where I read the post......

No skill stacks past 125... but they are different skills, so they do stack. (At least they are intended to, not working as intended on TC.)

Q: What is the expected benefit from force crafting skills? Do you seem them as unbalancing the current crafting economy? Are those supposed to give more experimentation points?

A: You will get more experimentation points. (paraphrased): 2 points is what you can get from FS. ANd this will stack with skill tapes, for a total of up to 14 experimentation points. All FS skills were designed to be enhancements, butnot overwhelming or unbalancing. Devs do not see this as unbalancing, Crafters will always have the option to sell wares as they are, or pursue force sensitive lines, much as they can pursue skilltapes now.
