are these completely random, or based on experimentation ?

I ask this because last night, I made a suit of bone armour with a total of 26 sockets in (Master Artisan with 10 experimentaion), but my normal Mabari armourweave, has a total of zero sockets (Novice armoursmith,1 experimentation)

both were crafted at my private station with the same tools.

you are not getting sockets in your armorsmith level stuff because you are not far up teh armorsmithing tree as you progress they will add randomly to your armor.

your bone armor had the slots because you have the skil in artisan to get them

so it's a mixture of skill level AND random factor.... that makes no sense

surely it should have been one or the other
