I've been hearing that Ubese can be better than Composite. Is this true? If so, where can I get some? I'm on Tempest.

Better than composite? Anything can be better than composite...depending on what you want it for.

As an armorsmith, I have access to some very nice comp. And when I want to fight against stuff that shoots back, I wear it. Fully buffed of course, unless I want to wear my "light" set.

When hunting things that bite and scratch, I wear Ubese or Chitin. I have a 80% kinetic Ubese set that protects me just as well against this type of attack as my kinetic layered comp. It's also much cheaper and lighter.

Mabari - Nice color options. Very light. Great against low level creatures. Why wear a full comp suit against nunas?

Chitin - Almost on par with Ubese. It has more pieces, so the damage is spread out a little more than Ubese.

Tantel - No vulns. Great for low level shooting missions. May want to augment with other pieces to fill the holes.

Padded - It looks nice. Good color options. Hmm...about the only thing nice I can say about it. If it's made "light", it's good for medium level stuff, too bad it's so heavy.
