Thread: With the CU comming ...

Should I keep crafting ? Is there a link or thread about what they will do to all existing armor and how it will be incorporated into the new system? I have something telling me not to use all my good resources until the CU goes live. Not sure what good making 73% base comp is , when the whole system is changed a month later.

What i have heard....is that the good armor you make now should change over to good armor when the cu hits. will that happen? (Hope so) But nobody knows that much...i mean if you save your good resources and not make that 73%now maybe those resources wont be needed or the stats will be diffrent. so i am just making my stuff now and when it hits or when we find out what is what i will go from there...

I'd also consider just how long it's taken them to work on this project. If you close up shop and wait, you could be waiting awhile.

Personally, I'm continuing as normal. We don't know when this is coming out, and if armor sales are still fairly brisk, hey, that just means more credits in my bank. Given that the CU will have to go through Alpha and public Beta testing, we'll have plenty of warning about what to expect.
What I am doing, and what I suggest others do as well, is start collecting and hoarding resources of all varieties, particularly the rarer irons, steels, and organics. I'd wager that while the OQ+SR formula won't change, the actual resources involved at the various stages of crafting might.
Just a thought.

I would say keep crafting also. No matter what happens people are going to have to be compensated for what they have and naturally good now will equal good after. If they somehow made the best stuff now worthless after the CU they would definately lose most of their players because everyone would be basicly starting from square one all over again. Whether the conversion will work as intended though is another story.
