These wonderful forums aren't letting me run a search. Are PSGs the only armor that you can get LS resists with?

Tantel has LS resist in a similar way as PSG, and it will disappear when you log / shuttle / slice etc.
In order to be useful you have to have it crated and pull a piece whenever you need it.

I posted this on the Gorath board a couple days ago. Copy and pasting it here.
Since I logged on to 5 mails and tells asking me about this, I thought I'd post it here for all to see since it seems to be a common question.
"The armor has a Lightsaber Resist when I put it on, but its gone now!'
The devs recently made public the fact that ImperialPrototype Shield Generatorsare suppost to have the LS resist. Imp PSG's have been craftable for over a year and since the holocron grind thing, they've had a mysterious LS stat. So does Tantel armor. (Lando's armor in Jabba's Palace)
However, that stat never seems to stick. Why is anyone's guess, but we now have confirmation that the Imperial PSG's are in fact suppost to have the LS resist, and is not a bug as was originaly thought. What happens is, the Lightsaber protection shifts (goes missing) from the Shield or Tantel Armor when you either A) Cross a server boundry, or B) The Server resets. So if you buy a PSG on Lok and head off to your mark on Dantooine... your psg will have lost the LS resisit by the time you get there.
The devs have made it official that the stat is suppost to be there. But that doesn't mean there has been any change to the way they work. They are working on the shifting problem, but when the fix goes live is anyones guess.
-Work arounds-
Crates of PSG's and Tantel seem to keep the resist indefintly if placed in a vendor or put in a droid.
It somtimes also works with uncrated armor, but is twitchy and does not always stay.
My advice to you.
Get a crate of PSG's and a droid that has a storage compartment. Toss the crate in the droid until you need it. RIGHT before you need it (as in just before the fight starts), call your droid, get the crate, pull the PSG, equip it. Then put the crate back into your droid and store the droid. You will have some LS resist for the battle.
Personal Shield Generators were never intended to last very long and loose condition very fast. A sliced PSG (yes they are slicable and the LS res is a base effectivness stat) with an Anit-decay kit could be a very valuable tool if they ever get around to fixing the stat shift. An ADK on a sliced PSG (orone unsliced without an ADK for that matter)put into a droid MAY keep its LS stat, but I have not personally tested it.
Padded armor belts seem to have to same issue, when they are crafted they have stats vs. all, but its medicore at best not intended to have any stats.
So before you go out and buy a ton of lightsaber resistant armor, understand how the bug works before you waste your money.
