I went to novice tailor too, grabbed 2 factories and started making synthetic cloth in them to make mabari chestplates, lots of prep work to start grinding these butthe actual crafting grind goes by SOOO fast if you do chestplates. After only 5 sessions of grinding im at 4304. only about 2 more sessions to go.

i started grinding Chestplates and im only getting 400 xp... is that how much a novice AS should get? if it is then i dont know how you did it in 8 sessions.

i did the whole thing in a week doing nothing but chest plates. 400xp is pretty good for how much resource and time thy take. Get 5 crafting stations going and click your brains out for a week. You will need to keep a factory runnning for armorweave segs and one for cloth.

im getting ready to start my grind, so i went and found some Steel yesterday to use for my first Master suits, ( still novice)
is steel with this OQ/SR any good for comp.?
OQ=931, SR=885
it looked ok, and i was under the impression that resistance was connected by 50% OQ and 50% SR. . ..

i thought it was more like 480.... could be wrong... heres what i did.
I had 2 factories
factory one produced synthetic cloth since i said i picked up novice tailor
factory two made the armorweave segments
I would calulate the number of segments to crates of synth cloth i would need by dividing the number of segments by 8. then I multiplied the total segements by the xpvalue to figure how much xp i would get from that inventory full of components.
I would grind out 2 boxes run to get trained then grind out a few more. I went 1004, 4004, 4404, 4444 master. I intermixed some actual crafting to put some armor on the bazaar to get my name out. Overall took me less than 1 week. No where near continous grinding. I would grind 1-2 hours at a time and then go do something else to not get burned out. Also start collecting resources now... i just spent 5 million buying good resources after hitting master.

That's pretty decent stuff and would get some till you can find better. I personally ground whatever i felt comfortable and was able to afford to 3-0-0-0 then did ubese shirts the rest of the way. Done the grind 4 times now, it's slow but it works.

I just got master and I tell you... MOST BORING THING I HAVE EVER DONE! I did mostly mabari and that wasent to bad but when you start going ubese it is LONG. And yes you can buy synthetic cloth although its kinda pricy in big numberes.

much cheaper and faster to grind novice tailor with the skill points you will need for master amormorsmith anyway.
