Just made my first run of Ubese. Now I am looking at making Kinetic Composit armor. It seams the kinetic layers for Ubese and Composit need to be differnt. The fallowing is from the guid above.
"Experimental design: For layers, you will need the Effectiveness + Kinetic resist to be around 10%. With high quality segment and final combine resources this can sometimes be as low as 7 or 8%."
Does (s)he mean base and kinetic resists need to both be 10%, or the sum of the integers of the base and kinetic resists need to be 10. Guid seams to use "Quality", "Base" and "Effectiveness" interchangeibly. I made 100 of the fallowing kinetic layer:
Base 2%
ham 7/7/7
K 9%
With 3 of these I made the fallowing Ad Seg:
Base 12%
ham 29/20/30
E 27%
K 28%
I am I going down the right track? I will have alot more time to experiment this weekend. A little feed back before then would be helpful. I dont like using good resorces when i dont know what I am doing. Thank you.

hmmm
you layers are only 9% kinetic, go ahead and max kinetic if you havent already, you should be at least 12-13% kinetic, if not, go get better resources

I am retarded thought you were talking about ubese not composite
read this from okram, you will be fine

What you want to do is, make 3 unexperimented kinetic layers, make them into gloves (max the base on segment and final combine), then see what base % it is. If you get something around 60% base, that means you need to make 20% more kinetic on the layers in order to hit 80% (so 3x 7% kinetic layers = 21% just to make sure you hit 80%). So make the layers with 7% kinetic, and then put the rest of your points into the top line.

Thanks guys. The 12pont guid looks like what i need to read. The other sujestions are helpful thanks. Any more?

true but when i did this it was overkill on the kinetic resist. To get 80/80 i had to knock the kinetic layer down to 9% and base up to 3%. That way, with my resources, I can experiment the second line to max to get 78% and 1 point in 3rd line to finish it out.
