Guys...

trying to sum all experience my friends made so far on the real servers with the CU the whole economy will lower dramatically!! Noone (really noooone) can solo anything in the meaning of earning real money with it.

ATKM (level 56) fights a Cu Pa (level 15) and it takes him 3 mins to get him down (...) and then....NOT a SINGLE point of XP!!!

In fact I dunno how the group pay out will be for higher missions if the group survives (this morning 6 guildies of mine tried to kill 1 Rancor and failed 4 times in a row...guess the rancor still lives...) (...by the way: 1 in words...ONE rancor not a pack) but if they dont increase payouts the whole ecenomy will fall down like a hammer!!!

We will need alot more organic resources to craft armor and I wonder who will deliver this???...and especially at what price??? I was working very hard on the last yavin spawn of wooly...thanks god I have 150k of it - this is a treasure now!!!

My opinion is: In a very short period of time people will not be able to pay "old" prices for armor anymore, tho cause of an increase of +200% in resources (amount, creds) and time(!!!) we should ask for even more than the old prices!!

I still hope that I will wake up tomorrow and that nightmare called CU is over!!!

well people will have to lower the CPU cost of armor.. IMO 250-350 per suit was rediculous anyway.. i sold for 125k a suit and made good money... my new prices will be about 250 i think that is if i make it again in mass...

lol, you are selling yourself short. I don't think armor will be in much demand any way, so price would seem irelavant. Only thing that will sell good is faction armor for PvP events I bet.

Only problem with that, is if the hide providers keep demanding their same prices, there's no way armorsmiths can lower their prices... that's where the main cost is.

If you plan on selling for that low, have fun burning yourself out making it.

Selling armor pre-supposes several things:

1. There is someone playing AS to make the armor (which is looking less likely).

2. You can get the stuff to make armor (which if you require hides, you might as well forget).

3. There needs to be someone playing the game (*cough*) and making credits to buy armor with.

To all the people who said what you see on TC is not what is going live, consider this reality slapping you in the face.

The CURB is neither a COMBAT UPGRADE, because combat is much less enjoyable now, nor a REBALANCE, when 4 elite professions can not take down a single level 80 creature, and xp is basically non-existant for anything below your level.

125k for a triple layered comp suit comes out to about 24cpu just for resources. Those are some pretty cheap resources you're using or you are losing money.

My combat alt has TK, so I dont HAVE to buy armor (I bet they nerf their innate armor and still prevent them from wearing armor). I do have a few million creds in the bank, I can afford some armor. But the armor prices are probably going to increase by 4x by what my guildie armorsmith told me.

4x more expensive and less than half as good! I love the CU!

Unlayered advanced armor shouldn't be very much more expensive than the old triple-layered comp. It is actually less overall resources.
