Thread: Is the final word on respec for Crafters a No?

Ahazi is due up shortly, Ive decided that I don't plan to keep on crafting. Will I be able to respec that character or not?

No that anyone will give a toss, but I dont plan to keep that account open if I cant.

The last word I saw from Tiggs was you definitely won't be able to respec into or out of crafter skills when the servers come up... but they were thinking about allowing it in the future.

Not able to respec out of I expected ... but not able to respec INTO!? Fun news for any crafting doc thinking of taking up BE so as to continue with medical crafting (such as it is)...

The devs look to be moving more toward allowing everyone to respec. I would imagine within a week or so everyone will have a respec.

The final word is "maybe". If they were smart, and want to do the decent thing, they'll allow crafters and entertainers to respec. I really don't see a good reason why they didn't in the first place. In my case, one of my alts is a master bio-engineer. In the CURB, they completely broke pet making, so I can't even make any pets. If they allow me to respec, I'll choose Master Armorsmith.
