I read that as there being no point to AS, as armour is useless ... probably not quite what they meant, but it's what they said.

I am hoping either he has no clue what he is talking about or his English isn't very good.
Quoting the first line "...that it is intended game design." I'm hoping what he meant to say was "Armour Components are supposed..."
I sent a ticket about the same thing and was just told that there was nothing they could do.

If there is no point in AS then my toon is buggered, and that csr needs to go back to school and learn how to be polite , maybe they are tired after converting servers to cu, but that gives them no right to be obnoxious to us in a question that we know nothing about, because there is nothing about cu for us to find out.

The hell there isnt. THey could damn well convert the things is what they could do. At least give all pre-existing looted componets base enhancement stats if nothing else.
