Thread: Should faction really be this high per schematic?
Went to get a set of scout schema's from the Imperial recruiter today...cost:85500 faction for all schematics.
I realise that the empire is anti alien but ouch..thats a crap load of faction for 10 suits.
Isn't that a little extreme?
edit: i obviously mean 20-25k each suit

25k FP per suit, 110credits per FP from a Master Smuggler = 2.75 million credits
2.75 million credits divided by 10 uses per schematic = 275k
275k for a set of faction and thats before the cost of resources and labour.
faaar too high in my opinion.
Yeah, my pre-CU marine armor converted as if it was 90% base to begin with, so it was definitely on a different conversion formula :/
I just bought all the schematics for all 3 suits. It cost me 12520 fp per set. That's37560 fp for all of them.
Of course I'm a rebel so didn't have to worry about the alien penalty, and I bought them on a planet where rebs are ahead. They also didn't cost me all that much cash because I re-spec'd my swords dabbling into smuggler dabbling. All you need is underworld 4 to buy FP. You don't need master smuggler and you don't need higher rank than lance corporal.
I think those costs are not excessive. Sure I'd like them lower... or maybe even a bit higher if you could also make factory schematics from a single use.
However, I think the Imp alien costs are excessive and totally pointless. If just that one thing were eliminated I think it would help more than just faction armor.

in a planet ruled by the empire you should pay 20-25k for all schematics..still high but more reasonable!

Do they come as tradable schematic items or do they go straight into the datapad when prurchased?
Straight to your pad.
