Thread: Should faction really be this high per schematic?

Didn't think to try this on test, not flaming just asking opinions.
Went to get a set of scout schema's from the Imperial recruiter today...cost:85500 faction for all schematics.

I realise that the empire is anti alien but ouch..thats a crap load of faction for 10 suits.

Isn't that a little extreme?

in a planet ruled by the empire you should pay 20-25k for all schematics..still high but more reasonable!

edit: i obviously mean 20-25k each suit

25k FP per suit, 110credits per FP from a Master Smuggler = 2.75 million credits

2.75 million credits divided by 10 uses per schematic = 275k

275k for a set of faction and thats before the cost of resources and labour.

faaar too high in my opinion.

Well the armor has great stats now. I had a pre-CU set of marine (recon) armor that is now better than my composite (assault). I can't wait to see what the other armor stats wind up as.

Yeah, my pre-CU marine armor converted as if it was 90% base to begin with, so it was definitely on a different conversion formula :/

I just bought all the schematics for all 3 suits. It cost me 12520 fp per set. That's37560 fp for all of them.

Of course I'm a rebel so didn't have to worry about the alien penalty, and I bought them on a planet where rebs are ahead. They also didn't cost me all that much cash because I re-spec'd my swords dabbling into smuggler dabbling. All you need is underworld 4 to buy FP. You don't need master smuggler and you don't need higher rank than lance corporal.

I think those costs are not excessive. Sure I'd like them lower... or maybe even a bit higher if you could also make factory schematics from a single use.

However, I think the Imp alien costs are excessive and totally pointless. If just that one thing were eliminated I think it would help more than just faction armor.

Remember everyone it is not binary so you can't just go by which side is winning. It is a ratio of the your side vs opposing side. Imp 600 vs reb 200 will cost more than imp 10 reb 0. If you want to save money, check EVERY planet except Endor and Dath. A planet where the opposing side has 0 is the cheapest.

Do they come as tradable schematic items or do they go straight into the datapad when prurchased?
