Sorry for such a newbie question...but how do I know what armour I can wear?...I see where I can refit...so I tried to refit all my armour in the correct category and used all of it to see what would work. Nothing did...another char used bone armour and it all (everything...mine and his) said we lacked certif....we tried all areas...whats the problem?...thanks for whoever answers this one.

You can find armour certs in whichever Novice Elite professions you have - if you have any.

Look in your skill tree for which modifiers you get. It will say something like 20% Battle Blah Blah...40% Battle in each box as you move up the Elite prof. Someone else can probably tell you exactly what it says but I don't have the game right in front of me.

I dont know all of them but here is a short list of what i do remember.

Assault Armor

BH/ and Commando

Battle Armor

Fencer, Swordsman, Ranger

Recon Armor

Pistoleer, Smuggler,

TKM

No armor

Vice Consul of The SRA
Sexiest wook in the galaxy
Master Smuggler
Alliance Ace Pilot
Master Commando
Rwookrrorro Vendor tent 369 -276 on Talus Just off the Shuttle, Providing displaced wookiees a home since player cities were launched...

And you can refit your existing armor (I would use good comp) to any other appropriate class as a one time change.

Monroe - Medic (formerly Kiom)
Xana - Jedi
Tarantella - Structures
Cebak - Entertainer

Recon: all ranged including smuggler

battle: pike/sword/fencer doc/cm/ranger

Assult: commando, BH, Squad leader

No armor: Crafters, TKA, Jedi, entertainers
