I am a relatively new master AS. I cut my teeth on Ubese and now I have gathered some very high quality resources to make composite. However I am having trouble figuring out how I should be creating my layers in order to get high Base and max the special protect. Could you all give me some advice on this?

I am trying to make stun layered comp and I hear you all hitting in the 30s or 40s. Now I put my layer up to 8% but when I made gloves I ended with only a 18% stun resist with somewhat high HAMS. I am thinking that you are maxing out the layer to achieve this stun resist at the expense of base and HAM, is this the case or is there a better way to craft the layers?

Also on Kinetic layers, for the 80% kinetic suits, I know I don't need to max these layers to hit 80%, so what is a number to shoot for on these 2 resists within the kinetic layer. I have heard 4% kinetic and 2% base is good, but I found that I got better results with 5/3? Of course then my HAMS are higher as well?

Some clarification on layers would be very helpful.
