Ok, I have read a little about this on here (and maybe it has been beat to death months ago) but I wanted to get an answer from the armorsmiths here.

It seems to me one of the biggest problems with the GCW and the "starwars" feel is that everyone uses composite - not Stormtrooper or Rebel Armor. Maybe I am missing something, but I see such a simple fix. Take the composite template (everything all the way through) and apply it to the faction armor artwork. Make it so that people can purchase the schematics from the recruiters for faction points and then let armorsmiths who are alligned make it.

Right now no one spends their faction points on armor because it is inferior to composite. But if it were the same as composite (not better....thus neutrals and those covert - scared to declare and wear cool armor - won't whine) most everyone would switch over to the appropriate factional armor.

What are the community thoughts on this? I try to come up with reasons not to do it...but am at a loss... It isn't a money sink because it is faction points that buy it....it would be alot better having 100s of stormtroopers running around vs. comp hunters...
