Tonight a master smith I know, tried to use NS layers in place of the albatross feathers . It was refused, has this been *fixed* to use only feathers?
Can someone confirm this ? Surprised us

I made an interwoven RIS segment tonight using three 100% base (5%) kinetic layers.

Were you trying to put the Nightsister layer inside of a RIS layer as a replacement for the feather? If that is indeed what the two of you were trying to do that explains why you failed. You cannot use any sort of layer as a replacement component for the Peko Peko Albatross feather when crafting a RIS layer. Hehe, you can't stack layers into layers although it would be interesting if you could. 
If you were trying to put the NS layer into the RIS segment and that didn't work, I don't know what to tell you.
