Sorry to disappoint you but they are completely useless. Even a novice smith can get a higher base and lower encumberance on regular padded with the crappiest of resources.

Here's what to do: hover your mouse over a segment, right click, select destroy, repeat. No seriously these are fairly useless. A lower level Armorsmith might be able to get some use out of them, so if u know one just give them to him.

I'm lazy and use them to fill any padded armor requests since I don't feel like making any padded armor segments (that and my guild seems to like swamping me with them)

do armorsmiths even use these anymore? i think they can be put in padded armor. i just found a ton of the segments in my basement. this is not an auction for them. if i find they are still worth something i will put it on the appropiate forum. for now i would just like to know if fambaa hides are still used by armorsmiths. thanks!!
