80 kinetic and 55 base? On my server composite usually has 80% kinetic, 80% electric, 70-72% base and thats what people buy. Unfortunately people usually only want the best and until you can start matching the stats of other master armorsmiths you're going to have a hard time selling composite armor to anybody.

I'd head to mos eisley, you might have more luck there... maybe... Although sadly you may have to come down in price even more, or do some serious credit investing for better resources. I've seen a trend as of late even on my own server for top quality armor at great prices.

I think it has something to do with where you set up. I've only been selling armour for just over a month now, had 2 vendors in a mall on the outskirts of Bestine. I was only selling 80% kinetic, 61% base stuff at 210k a suit, made about 750k on average per day. Recently I moved out of the mall, to somewhere else about 900m from Bestine, and now make about 2 million credits per day. Most player cities usually end up as ghost towns, so if hardly anyone visits, then don't expect to sell any armour there.

As Sincrafter said, your base is far too low. You have to get that to 68-72% no doubt. Players who understand armor will not buy with anything below that.

You don't even know your own shop's waypoint . Your new shop is about 600m outside of Bestine

Is it really lol? I must check the waypoint when i next get back in game... I take distance from the front of the starport, and it was about 850-900m when I was last in there

Anyway back to the topic... I'd say Bestine is a great place for selling cheap armour, as you do tend to get a lot of new people shopping around there. I've seen countless number of people wearing Mabari/Bone armour walk into my shop!

And yes, your base is a little low, have you tried Virtual Armoursmith to see what you can really get? Very useful when making your first sets of armour

My friend, take my word for it... GET THE WOOD!! Wookies are the finest (and usually most mature) customers in the game, and they buy armor like you would not believe. Also, being only four piece sets, their armor degrades the quickest, and thus requires a fast turnover.

Get all the necessary resources for both types of the new wookie armor. Make a fine chest piece. Put it on the bazaar as a 6,000c auction. Advertise your WP and specialties in the "item description" box of the auction, then wait. You won't be waiting long.

From there, selling to reasonable customers is a matter of word of mouth advertising. My best, and most long standing customers are Wookie (and those buying for Wookies). Composite, despite popular opinion, does not need to have utterly top tier resists IF it is inexpensive, and if, according to your posted buisness offers, you will attempt to repair all pieces of your own armor for free. With NPCs now using specials and weapon switches, credits are harder to come by, and armor pricing will again become an issue to the consumate player's mind.

Lastly, try having a Grand Opening period with a number of promotional offers. I started buisness with a 10% rebate, lucky lotto drawing, and a long-term customer retention program that they could sign up for.

First, I'd recommend making friends with a merchant, who has some tents around a popular shuttleport and doesn't already offer armor, and negotiate a fair price so she can resell it or earn a nice commission on your sales.

Then take whatever proffits you have and invest in the highest quality resources available and enough heavy extractors as you have lots for.

You might also explore niche markets that are not heavily exploited. Padded, wookie armor, PSG's...this depends on your server's market.

Your armor doesn't have to have the highest stats to sell as long as its priced accordingly.

The ideas above are great advice. I'd suggest:

1. Identify other crafters that may be in a similar situation of looking to make a name for themselves and joining up with them. A weaponsmith and a doctor are two great companions, since players like one-stop shopping.

2. If everyone is making kinetic comp, you may want to try to break from the mold and make other armor types to makea name for yourself (i.e. the niche market idea above).

Like real life, people become desensitized to advertising, so threads on forums and spamming in crowded player areas aren't always effective.

So there is not a market for Ubese? Hes making a PVE/grind suit and looks like hes pricing it as such. I sell alot of similar suits at a similar price along with my much higher base suits.

My guess is location, and are you on the map?

The best advertising is word of mouth. A good way to start that is to break into the market not by making comp armor, which isbasically the major leagues, but by making investments in your customers when in their beginning stages.

What I mean is go to beginner planets and sell Mabari/Chitin armor in the bazaar and by talking to people in that area. It's a bit of a long-term investment with little initial payoff, but you will gain a loyal customer base, especially if you don't overprice your wares.

At the moment, I am about to start grinding armorsmith, and once I master it I will be filling in that niche market of 30k(and less) PvE suits of armor.
