First off I'm not a armorsmith. I am a loot collector and a person who wants some really nice RIS pieces made.
My Goal:
Get these pieces (Boots,Pants,Chest,Helm) with 80% Base, Some Acid / stun / kinetic protection, lowest possibleecumb, high cond.
What I have:
Interwoven RIS schematic
NS Layers 9% base
Yellow Cubes 5%
Green Cubes 15500 / 382
Janta Hides 4%
NS Shards -22/-25/-20
All the loot drops (GDK,Gurk,Woolamander)
A armorsmith with great resources and 12 points (Hardest thing to find, they all hate custom orders)
Assembly
Segement = (I was thinking)
NS layer 9%, Acid Layer, Stun Layer - Nightsister Shards - Green Cubes
Questions
I'm not sure if the 80% base is possible with that?! ... And I have no clue whatacid/stun/kinetic would be... or the HAM
So.... How it might go together? Do I need better componets?

In an individual part janta hides and NS shards both use the enhancement slot, so they can't be used together. Each peice only has one power cube slot, so you have to choose there as well. Also Adding Stun and Acid layers will up the HAM. You are probably going to have to choose between HAM, base, and condition. For low HAM use NS layers and Shards, for high base use janta hides and yellow cubes, for high condition use the green cube.
Not all smiths hate custom orders.
The base will depend a good deal on the quality of the resources your smith has. Acid and Stun are vulnerabilites on RIS. Adding layers for them gives them those protections, with your current setup you seem to be going with one stun adn one acid layer. Crafted layers can have 15% in their stat and 4% base, and ~12 HAM. Kinetic protection is the special protection on RIS, it will be raised with things that raise the base in the segment such as janta hides, yellow power cubes, and layers, but has to be experimented seperatly in the peices themselves.

I've been looking into making my own interwoven RIS too, and since its maybe the only one I'll get to make, I want try to get it right. I've been looking through the pages of ris discussions etc on layers and all that jazz and I've found its suggested that just 'filling the vuln' will do more harm than good against those types of damage. It will look good (no vuln except lightsaber looks great) But, against an armor piercing weapon, the damage will actually be more than if it were vulnerable bacause of the piercing bonus.
Thats whats suggested, I couldnt find any figures to back it up and I'll probably test it myself with a padded helm with an acid or stun layer in it and getting a bh and rifleman to shoot me in the head with and without the helm. (If anyones actually tested this or its been disproven, then by all means, just say, I dont particularly like getting zapped for testing purposes)
If your after decoration, then the layers would be make its stats look good, but Im not sure about the practicality of a low resistance layer that will just get you killed faster in a fight.
Depends what your going to use it for, you say your a collector so if its for show, I think your plans pretty sound.
