In Mabari there is an option for a enhancer to insert into the suit, is that where the layer would go? I need to know so I dont take layers 1 for nothing....

Hello everyone.

I'm a new smith, (currently 0/1/0/4), and was wondering if there was a way to add an energy layer to my Mbarie armorweave segments.

I noticed in JattoWaals Guide, above, he makes refernce to adding a "light energy layer" to Mbarie. Is that different from the energy layers I can make with Layers 1?

Thanks In advance

The only way to take out the energy vuln from maberi, is to add segment enhancers. That would be krayt scales and voritor scales ( not segs) mostly.

And using these above mentioned scales will only yield you a paultry 4%, althogh as mentioned, it would remove the vulnerability. In may opinion, the best way to handle Mabari is to raise your base as high as possible on you advanced segment, and leave the Primary resis ( Heat ) alone. By doing this you can yield a decent 23-28% Kinetic resist, and use it for low level creature missons. It is actually quite effective that way as cheap armor for beginners, and it looks great also.

Alternatley, on the higher end, you could add that Krayt scale and net an abundance of resists, but this approach can be costly, and the resistence percentages would be almost negligible.
