NO I dont make Bone Armor, (and yes Smithy's would make teh best bone armor given 10experiment points as opposed to Artisans experiment) Stats suck on it though.

I think you're better off putting bone to good use making Wookie armor or Chitin armor.

Then again I dont think your point is about bone armor is it?

>>>>>Two Words: Social Interaction

The whole point of this, this merchant 'nerf' is so that we talk to eachother. Same with no more recursive macros. This means no more buffbots, no more identical sets of everything, doctors that have a macro that says: pay up, no more starports that are full but empty. IT IS A Massively MULTIPLAYER Online Roleplaying Game! Devs are making the NPC's harder. They are trying to kill solo-groups. Its all about Social Interaction!!!

Actually, a human artisan with +25 artisan experimentation has 14 experimentation points. A human with no tapes still has 11. For some reason, I have yet to see a decent spawn of rori animal bone ( of course, i don't look too often, only check it every couple weeks). I have a boatload of great crellian bone ( 950+/950+). Chimaera has had about 40 great spawns of animal bone in a row.

Would you be askingafter the interwoven bone? That's a different story...

Use the interwoven schematics with about 10-14 % energy krayt scales and energy layers. You can hit 80% energy on bone armor easy.

Ahh. Well, first raise special ( energy) since most people buy it for low level faction missions. If you can, use voritor scales to enhance it ( it takes the kinetic vuln out, important to help keep the NPCs from tka tanking on you). Voritor segments do the same thing, but are generally lower class than what you can create yourself with decent resources. It follows armorsmithing's experimentation schedule. Ham for top, base for middle, special on bottom. OQ/SR for resists.

I guess a good question would be, do you hunt on dantooine alot, or have a cheap source for scales? If so, by all means, use them!! If not, don't worry about it. Most the ones on the bazaar are too expensive ( listed under components-armor)
