Im just curious as to other servers, but on Eclipse I've seen the sale of GDK Scales almost Triple on the Trade Forum, Is it just me or are these getting looted like mad? Maybe everyone on our server justdecided to auction off stashed away ones? Oh well, Im to late anyways

There is a bug, or perhaps an intentional change in coding that has made every/many GDK drop(s) a multi-drop. Still rare to get one to drop something but this time when it does, you get 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 scales instead of just one. Prices should be falling soon in which case RIS is going to be plain ol armor, no more unique than a scythe blade.

A few days ago I took on A GDK for the first time. Think I got really lucky, got 7 scales.

You guys suck...
I killed 4 GDKs in a row today and got like 50M Kimo scales but no GDK scale. Total, I have killed 20+ and NO FREAKIN GDK SCALE! Ugh, I am getting discouraged...
On a lighter not... it took me killing something like 50 Harrowers just to get a bone fragment drop! w00t! Go me!
Peko Peko... 4 killed... 12 feathers total.
Gurk Kings... like 20 killed 10 hides.
Who in the heck does the math over at SOE???

On my first Gurk King, I got a hide. I have never had a Harrower drop or a GDK drop and, in 5 months of searching, have never even seen a Peko Peko Albatross...
I have to wonder if individual characters can be bugged, as my loot drop rate and quality has never been good.....

I know, that finding things like the Albatross is just a matter of searching. It may take a while,but you will find one. I do very much agree with you on the loot thing. Overall, the group I run with, I get far fewer drops, and much lower quality items than some of the others it seems. Not to say I never get something good( got a krayt pearl I was told was very nice). Random is ok, but can be cruel...

I have hunted GDK since RIS went live. Killed way over 100, then just last Friday, the first GDK i killed gave me 11 GDK Scales, the second I killed gave me 2. Just keep at it and you will get some...

its because you guys are forgetting your 4 leaf clover! i got 4 drops total out of 40 kimos. 11/9/7/9

Killed 14 one Sunday morning right after reboot. First dropped 8, second to last dropped 2. On my way back I found one in the wild adn had enough time on my buffs so I took it out.... it dropped 11. Of course I have killed 50+ since that day and received none but still feel very lucky.

i have killed around 25 gdk's over the last 2 weeks . all 25 have been the one that spawns next to kimoglia village poi . so far i have gotten nothing from all of them . does this gdk never drop or have i just been unlucky . also i have never seen a gdk in the wild , is there a certain area i should be looking and are their any tricks to find them . lastly do any other kind of kimoglia ( enraged , giant etc ) ever drop anything valuble ? . any reply will be greatly appreciated .

Rumor has it that they DO drop there, but at a lower rate then ones in the wild. *shrugs* I don't know.

I believe more people are now hunting them on Eclipse than before too.
