I have just started my long journey to Armorsmith, and as a Novice Artisan I am looking for a simple, yet effective sampling macro that I can leave for hours on not get booted off for inactivity.The ones that I have found in guides got me booted off. ex:
/sample;
/pause 600;
/pause 300;
/macro sampling;
Anybody have a simple, yet effective, long lasting sampling macro for me to use?
Thanks

Mine was something like this:
/stand;
/pause 3;
/sample;
/pause 75;
/afk;
/stand;
/pause 2;
/sit;
/afk;
/pause 60;
/ui action toolbarSlot11;
Once you have the macro, drag the icon to F12 and it will loop. I found (or imagine) that the toggling of the AFK status keeps the system from logging you out. I believe it takes about 12 hours to get through Surveying 4. Just check in after about 1 hour for Surveying 1, 2 for 2, 4.5 for 3 and 6 for 4... Good luck.
The sit pause time can be eliminated with the use of buffs. A buff on either your Quickness or Stamina (I believe) will allow you to sample non-stop. Or you can do a stat migration to max your Action substats.

It may be that the pseudo keystroke of the macro looping to the F key keeps you from going AFK. My toggle idea may be useless. Glad you got something working.
