The armorsmith prof has had my attention for quite a while.

Thought I have a few questions on the proffesion

Is it hard to make good compositive armor and ubese with just 10points?

How long does it take to grind the proffession to master?

How do you like the proffession?

Thanks

I love being an armorsmith.

The grind sucks.

Decent comp can be made with 10 points. (assuming your resources are up to it)

Is it hard to make good compositive armor and ubese with just 10points? some think it is hard, but prob not as bad as some would make it out to be. Your ubese can be same kin resists as 12 point, and base can be as high on comp as a 12 point. Also specializing in other armors like padded can be a good niche

How long does it take to grind the proffession to master? can be done in a day or two if you have your resources and cloth set up beforehand

How do you like the proffession? like it

Thanks

Grind sucks.

I'm a 10 point and I think I make fairly decent armor.

I love it.

You could still be extremely Competitive. Its all in your Resources!

Took me a couple weeks.

I loved it, but after doing it for a year, I needed a change and dropped it.

Easily, I made 80 Kin/Elec/Energy and 71 base with 10 pts, It's all in yourresource.

How long does it take to grind the proffession to master? 2 days if you grind like crazy, I did it in a month or two

How do you like the proffession? I LOVE it

Thanks

First the Nazis came for the Communists, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew. After that they came for the Trade Unionists, I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. And then they came for me, but there was no one left to speak.

1. Nah, just get some good rescources and find a niche.

2. I did it in 3 days, it's a pain. My advise is crank some tunes and get a good macro

3. Love it, lotsa people in my guild think it's boring to craft, but I love getting my Kashyyykian Hunting/Composite Armor even better.

I'm a 10-pointer, I do fairly well with great resources and knowing my limitations. Without getting some extremely fantastic stuff, I found I couldn't manage 80%kin/80% energy comp, but I pull a decent 75%/75% combo. And my 80%kin/68%base comp got a nice compliment from a smuggler the other night who didn't even notice I made it - he asked where I got it so he could get some.

It's all about resources, and finding your niche. Once I get myself fully organized -- I can be very, very messy, sadly -- I plan to specialize in some of the simpler things, like the 80% kin composite that makes decent general hunting armors, and custom padded for the pretty colors. I'll likely never sell to the PvP crowd, but decent-priced hunting/grinding armor is always needed.

I love my prof, when I'm not fighting with my guild, trying to get them to understand that a stack of 2k yavin wooly is NOT a lot when I've asked them for "Wooly. Yavin. Tons of it."

It's hard don't do it......move to Starsider and buy my armor.

Crafting since Publish 5. I'm holding on in hopes the Armorsmith profession gets the love it deserves. I prefer the pre-CU system, crafting and combat. I would also like to see decay and hide gathering reinstalled into the game, as well as some epic Recon, craftable of course. And make being 12 point important again.
