Thread: 1st set of composite need some advice ...

i finished my 1st setsof composite chestplatesand came out with:
4 Sockets
80% kin
75% elec
67% base
H/A/M 279 / 107 / 71
Is this a decent 1st try or are there ways i can improve it? I am still only a 10 pt smith. Any advice would be apprieciated.

Looks pretty good for the first try. What resources are you using an we can see what needs to be improved?
What do your layers look like?

decent mind encumbrance for triple-layer
if you can get an amazing success on your base line experiment you should be able to knock your health encumbrance down anothe 10 points or so

i think my problem is my resources ill get a list when i log back in (at work now) but my layers were
4 base 4 kinetic HAM 11/11/11
they start out : 1 base 4 kin 16/16/16 before i experiment them down even with an amazing on 1st experiment to get to 4% base it only leaves me with 2 points to go into enc.
i do know that most of my resources are really high oq + sr but most are under 200 MA ... is that why i start off with such high HAM layers?

What you have there is very good for a first try, and you will easy find a market for it....... Just price it well and people will buy.
note my first try was 58% base, you must be doing something right

As a fellow Bria A/S thats roughly the same as im getting and im useing some real nice stuff. think the only area improvement would be experimentation more points, but on our server the CA's are stupid money, 15mil+ of a +4 12 mil for a +3 and so on...

hey the one thing i did right was talk to a fellow smith persphoni ... she sat down and spent at least an hour talking to some stranger (me) and was very patient in teaching me how to craft and learn what you can do.
yeah i managed to loot a single +1 armorsmith exp tape and cant afford to pay 15 mil for a +4 tape, i di settle for a buncha +2's
... id love just to be an 11 point smith that extra 1 point could make the difference.

lol, my first set of comp was about 52% base. That was about 13 months ago too.
